Harvest’s Intensive Services Program is a long-term, semi-secure facility that serves children who are behaviorally or emotionally dysfunctional and who require an intense level of supervision and services. This facility can serve up to 22 children at any time with two separate locked wings for boys and girls. Each unit is monitored by a security alarm system and cameras in the day rooms. 24-hour awake staff
provides for the children’s daily needs, behavior
management and treatment. On staff social workers manage each child’s Individual Treatment Plan. Education services are received on-site and provided by Special Education endorsed teachers. Emotionally dysfunctional children who will require permanent group care or living assistance may remain in this program until they turn 18 and transition into adult services.
Behaviorally dysfunctional children will be provided treatment and support
services to help them eventually step-down into less restrictive settings. Treatment Services:
- Long-term semi-secure facility for children or who are emotionally or
behaviorally challenged. Children must have self-help skills.
